EAST MOLINE – Ardyth June McNaught, 85, a resident at Park Vista in East Moline, formerly of Galva, died at 1:36 a.m., Friday, February 2, 2018 at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 7 at Rux Funeral Home in Galva. Her grandson, Peter McNaught, will officiate. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 6 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Galva Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Park Vista.
She was born September 3, 1932 in Parchment, MI, the daughter of Burton and Leona (Campbell) Felder. She married Riley W. McNaught on March 3, 1954 in Knoxville, IL and he preceded her in death on October 30, 2007. She was also preceded in death by her parents, a son, Lee and a sister, Audrey. She is survived by three sons, Andre (Debbie) McNaught of Bloomington, IL, Bert (Melissa) McNaught of Moline, IL and Paul McNaught of Kannapolis, NC, seven grandchildren, Andrew (Beni) McNaught, Megan McNaught, Hannah (Matt) Nelson, Peter (Claire) McNaught and Abigail, Matthew and John McNaught, a sister, Arvis (Charles) Garrison of Fairview, TX and a brother, Warren (Barbara) Felder of Troy, OH.
Ardyth graduated from the Michigan School for the Deaf in Flint, MI. She was a homemaker and was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Galva and United Methodist Women. She enjoyed doing puzzles, crafts and playing bingo. In earlier years, she enjoyed riding her bike, ever so slowly, around Galva.
