Audrey D. Sueltz

GALVA - Audrey D. Sueltz, 72, of Galva, died at 3:56 a.m., Saturday, October 10, 2015 in the emergency room at OSF Saint Luke Medical Center in Kewanee.    

Cremation has been accorded and a memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, October 15 at Rux Funeral Home in Galva. Rev. Jerry Rafalko will officiate. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the services at the funeral home. Following the services there will be a gathering at 912 W. Division St. in Galva. Memorials may be directed to the Audrey Sueltz Memorial Fund.

She was born August 23, 1943 in LaSalle, IL, the daughter of Gerald and Dorothy (Gorczynski) Flockhart. Survivors include her son, Rory (Donna) Sueltz of Galva, four sisters, Pat Micklewright of Spring Valley, IL, Charlotte Roberts of Idaho, Joan (Ed) Finley of Spearfish, SD and Cheryl (Randy) Lampley of Oregon, three grandchildren, Samantha, Shane and Tyler and two great grandchildren, Chloe and Liam. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Shaun and Dorian Sueltz and her step-father, Ben Gorczynski, whom raised her.

Audrey attended LaSalle-Peru High School. She worked as a medical transcriptionist at Central Illinois Internal Medicine in Peoria. She enjoyed camping, fishing, sewing and doing crafts.
