Brenda Lee Piester

KEWANEE - Brenda Lee Piester, 58, of Kewanee, died at 6:48 a.m., Friday, January 15, 2016 at Royal Oaks Care Center in Kewanee.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 20 at Rux Funeral Home in Kewanee. Pastor Brian Currier will officiate. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 19 at the funeral home. Cremation will be accorded following the services. Memorials may be directed to the family for a memorial to be established.

She was born April 2, 1957 in Kewanee, the daughter of William Lee and Judith Ann (Hamilton) Ince Sr. She married Gary Wayne Piester on December 19, 1987 in Kewanee. He survives, as does her father and step-mother, William (Bonnie) Ince of Kewanee, a son, Justin Wayne Piester of Kewanee, a daughter, Brandi Jo Ince of Kewanee, three brothers, William Lee “Billzo” Ince Jr., Jimmer (Linda) Ince and Kirk (Teresa) Ince, all of Kewanee, five sisters, Roxann Price of Spring Valley, Lindy Richardson of Kewanee, Sindy (Greg) Hanson of Normal, IL, Payton (Brandon) Bach of Washington, IL and Wendy (James) Thurman of Kewanee, one grandchild, Myracle Sharrow and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, step-father, Kenneth Miller, granddaughter, Abigail Sharrow, daughter, Kayla Lynn Piester and her brother-in-law, Dale Price Sr.

Brenda was a homemaker and a member of the former Eagles Club. She enjoyed playing Bingo, was an avid Chicago Bears fan and especially loved being around family and friends.
