Darlene M. Kaiser

KEWANEE – Darlene M. (Loudenburg) Kaiser, 95, of Kewanee, died at 1:35 p.m., Friday, January 19, 2018 at Courtyard Village in Kewanee.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 27 at Rux Funeral Home in Kewanee. Rev. Paul Copeland will officiate. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services at the   funeral home. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens in rural Kewanee. Memorials may be directed to the Darlene Kaiser Memorial Fund.

She was born September 17, 1922 at home in rural Bradford, the daughter of Lovell and Blanche (McKeever) Loudenburg. She married Ronald Kaiser on February 17, 1957 at Bradford Methodist Church and he preceded her in death on September 21, 2004. They lived on the farm for 34 years and had later moved to Kewanee.

Survivors include her step-daughter, Sharon (Dwight) Yenzer of Tulsa, OK, two brothers, Loren Loudenburg of Toulon and Keith (Kellie) Loudenburg of Bradford and a sister, Elva “Punk” Loudenburg of Bradford. Also surviving are four nieces and nephews, Jean (Joe) Rohrig, Nancy (Rick) Heaton, Steve (Marjie) Loudenburg and Jeff (Rebecca) Loudenburg, three great nieces, four great nephews, one great-great niece and three great-great nephews.

Darlene attended Longfellow Country Grade School and graduated from Bradford High School in 1940. Following graduation, she had worked at some retail stores in Bradford. She enjoyed cooking, sewing and gardening.
