Gail Ann Bloomberg

KEWANEE - Gail Ann Bloomberg, 64, of Kewanee, died at 7:44 a.m., Thursday, August 11, 2016 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, August 13 at Rux Funeral Home in Kewanee. Linnea Gustafson will officiate. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Cremation will be accorded following the service. Memorials may be directed to the family for a memorial to be established.

She was born March 25, 1952 in Kewanee, the daughter of Richard and Mildred (Scott) Bloomberg. Survivors include her daughter, Rachel Bloomberg of Kewanee, her grandson, Gabrial Bloomberg of Kewanee, two sisters, Vicky (James) Rosenberg of Crystal Lake, IL and Tracy (Charlie) Jaco of Galva, two nephews, Donovan and Dustin Jaco, both of Galva and two nieces, Amanda (Whit) Chaiyabhat of Tucson, AZ and Katherine (Kirk) Douglas of Crystal Lake, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.

Gail graduated from Toulon High School and from OSF St. Francis College of Nursing with her Bachelors of Science in Nursing. She worked as a registered nurse for many years in the area until her retirement. She enjoyed reading, doing word searches and playing solitaire.
