Geraldine Greene

KEWANEE – Geraldine Greene, 70, of Kewanee, died at 9:00 p.m., Monday, May 15, 2017 at UnityPoint Health-Methodist in Peoria.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Friday, May 19 at Rux Funeral Home in Kewanee. Cremation will be accorded following the visitation. Memorials may be directed to the family.

She was born July 24, 1946 in Opelousas, LA. She married Caesar William Greene Sr. and he preceded her in death on February 13, 2014. Survivors include her two children, Michael Greene and his special friend, Amanda of Rock Island and Jacqueline Greene and her special friend, Dave of Kewanee, two brothers, Ben and Warren, a sister, Betty Chappell of Waco, TX and two grandchildren, Mike Jr. and Garrett. She was also preceded in death by her parents.

Geraldine was a homemaker and a member of the Second Baptist Church in Kewanee.
