James Dean "Jimmy Dean" Gibson

KEWANEE – James Dean “Jimmy Dean” Gibson, 59, of Kewanee, passed away at 10:17 p.m., Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at his home.

Cremation will be accorded and graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, December 14 at Forest Hill Cemetery in Wyanet. Rev. Dr. William R. Toliver will officiate. Memorials may be directed to the family for a memorial to be established. Rux Funeral Home in Kewanee is in charge of arrangements.

He was born February 19, 1958 in Kentucky, the son of Anna (Earl) Gibson. He is survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, mother and a sister, Pat Cromwell.

Jimmy Dean had been a maintenance worker and enjoyed tinkering on cars.
