My name is Carol. My deepest, deepest condolences to Monroe and his family. My daughter and I attend the flea market at Expo Gardens every month. We never left Lucille's booth without buying something. She had the coolest stuff. Was like a grandmother to us. I didn't find out until yesterday at the flea market. Absolutely devastated. She will be greatly missed. Love you Lucille. Love you Monroe.

I was shocked when Paul called me with the news. Although we haven't seen each other for several years, she was like my other mother for almost half my life. My prayers for comfort and strength go out to all of the family, and especially Monroe.
The Lord giveth, and the Lord taketh away. Blessed by the name of the Lord. He loaned her to us for 86 years, and now he has taken her back home to be with Him.

Monroe and Family,
Please accept my deepest sympathy as you are in my thoughts at this time. I will always remember those doll show years and the many times we set up near each other. Lucille always had a smile on her face and very willing to share doll news. She will be missed...

Monroe and family you are in my thoughts and prayers. Lucille was a wonderful person and she will never be forgotten. She did a lot of praying for me and I will be forever grateful to her for that. I will miss the kind friendly smiles and hugs that Lucille was known for. Lucille was a person we should all strive to be like!
