Anthony P. Brazee

KEWANEE – Anthony P. Brazee, 35, of Kewanee, died at 1:14 p.m., Tuesday, October 3, 2017 in the emergency room at OSF Saint Luke Medical Center in Kewanee.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 7 at Rux Funeral Home in Kewanee. The Very Rev. Jerry Rafalko will officiate. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Evergreen Memory Gardens in rural Kewanee. Memorials may be directed to the family for a memorial to be established.

He was born August 3, 1982 in Kewanee, the son of William R. and Molly Jo (Jones) Brazee. Survivors include several aunts and uncles, including Darlene (Walter) Hamrick Jr. of Dixon, IL and numerous cousins, including Lila (David) Lee of Dixon, IL, Mary (Jerry) Simmons and Walter (Dee) Hamrick III, both of Kewanee, Bradley Hamrick Sr. of Dixon, IL and Adam (Carrie) Hamrick of Michigan. He was preceded in death by his parents, maternal and paternal grandparents and several aunts and uncles.

Anthony graduated from Kewanee High School. He enjoyed watching WWE wrestling and movies especially horror, shooting pool, fishing and spending time with his cousin, Tyler. He was a well-liked person and was known to many as the “lovable giant.”
