Bonnie L. Mitchell

KEWANEE - Bonnie L. Mitchell, 73, of Kewanee, died at 11:26 p.m., Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 31 at Rux Funeral Home in Kewanee. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Inurnment will be in Westfall Cemetery in rural Victoria, IL at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the family for a memorial to be established.

She was born September 27, 1943 in Galesburg, the daughter of Elmer Clarence and Jessie Louise (Miller) Bridges. She married Edward Mitchell on July 12, 1962 and he preceded her in death on July 12, 2017 on their 55th wedding anniversary. Survivors include her two sons, Russell Mitchell of Galesburg and Duane (Jill) Mitchell, of Kewanee.

Bonnie attended Galesburg schools. She had worked at FCA in Princeville for nearly 20 years. She enjoyed playing cards, especially Uno and thoroughly enjoyed her family time. She is now at peace with her husband.
