Carol Ann Davis

KEWANEE – Carol Ann Davis, 65, of Kewanee, died at 7:07 a.m., Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 10 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses in Kewanee. Paul Schultz will officiate. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Friday, March 9 at Rux Funeral Home in Kewanee. Memorials may be directed to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses.

She was born July 26, 1952 in Morrison, IL, the daughter of Albert A. and Joanna E. (Lain) Ackerson. She married Dave Davis on March 4, 2006 in Peoria. Survivors include her husband of Kewanee, three sisters, Cathy (Donnie) Piester of Kewanee, Candice (Jeremy) DeBrouwer of Rock Island and Colleen (Edward) Fleming of Independence, MO, two brothers, Douglas (Denice) Ackerson of Sheffield and Lester Ackerson of Kewanee and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Christine.

Carol graduated from Black Hawk East. She was a homemaker, enjoyed doing crafts and was known for her baked desserts.
