Carol M. Rosebecke

KEWANEE – Carol M. Rosebecke, 85, of Kewanee, died at 1:25 p.m., Saturday, June 15, 2019 at the Kewanee Care Home.

Cremation will be accorded and private services will be held at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the family. Rux Funeral Home in Kewanee is in charge of arrangements.

She was born October 31, 1933 in Kewanee, the daughter of John and Hilda (Engle) Gavender. She married Morris Rosebecke in November of 1950 in Kewanee and he preceded her in death on September 5, 1995. Survivors include four sons; Eugene (Marlene) Rosebecke of Anchorage, AK, Dean (Crystal) Rosebecke of LaFayette, Gary (Dawn) Rosebecke of Kansas and Tim (Vicki) Rosebecke of Kewanee, two daughters, Jean (Rich) Williams and Brenda Woolsey, both of Kewanee, nine grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a daughter in infancy, two grandchildren and a great grandchild.

Carol attended Visitation Catholic School and Kewanee schools and had worked at Harper Wyman in Princeton. She was a member of Saint John Paul II Parish in Kewanee. She enjoyed doing puzzle books and she especially enjoyed being with her family and spending time with her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
