Charity M. Munson-Wade

GALVA – Charity M. Munson-Wade, 48, of Galva, died at 6:02 a.m., Monday, June 18, 2018 in the emergency room at OSF Saint Luke Medical Center in Kewanee.

Cremation will be accorded and a memorial visitation will be held from 3:00-5:00 p.m., Friday, June 22 at Rux Funeral Home in Galva. There will also be a Celebration of her Life from 2:00-4:00 p.m., Saturday, June 30 at the First Christian Church in Keithsburg, IL. Memorials may be directed to the family for a memorial to be established.

She was born September 20, 1969 in Muscatine, IA, the daughter of Benjamin and Mary (Stallings) Munson. She married Trisha D. Wade on September 20, 2015 in Kewanee. Survivors include her spouse of Galva, her son, Stephen “Nick” “Benjy” Munson-Wykert of Galva, a brother, Josh (Christy) Munson of Ottawa, IL, a brother-in-law, Tim Wade of Abingdon, two half-sisters, Kae Stevens and Susan Sedam and nine nieces and nephews; Makayla, Briana, Elijah, Daymeon, Benjamin, Travis, Brian, Lora and Amber. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Benjamin Munson.

Charity graduated from Cass High School in Cartersville, GA. She was a newspaper route carrier for the Peoria Journal Star, Galesburg Register-Mail and the Kewanee Star Courier. She enjoyed making friends with the pets along her newspaper route. She loved caring for her son, Nick and also enjoyed karaoke, listening to Trisha sing and especially spending time with her family.
