NEPONSET - Debbie Stabler, 62, of Neponset, died at 1:46 a.m., Saturday, June 16, 2018 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
Cremation has been accorded and a memorial visitation will be held from 4:00-6:00 p.m., Thursday, June 21 at Rux Funeral Home in Kewanee. Private inurnment will take place at a later date at West Neponset Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Debbie Stabler Memorial Fund.
She was born December 10, 1955 in Kewanee, the daughter of George and Ann (King) Price. She married Jerry Stabler on September 15, 1973 at the Neponset United Methodist Church. He survives as does their children, Jenny Stabler of Geneseo, Matt (Heather) Stabler of Buda and Lindsay Stabler of Sheffield, five grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Dawson, Colin, Jaxson and Samantha, two brothers, David (Virginia) Price of Kewanee and Steve Price of Texas and a sister, Susie (Michael “Spider”) Simaytis of Kewanee. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Sandy Stuckey.
Debbie worked in the shipping department at Boss Mfg. in Kewanee. She was of the Methodist faith. She was a Die-Hard Cub fan and enjoyed reading and listening to George Strait and Elvis. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and going to the movies with her daughters.
