Diana Collene McIntire

KEWANEE – Diana Collene McIntire, 57, of Kewanee, died at 5:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at the home of her sister, Carolyn.

Cremation will be accorded and no services will be held at this time. Memorials may be directed to the family. Rux Funeral Home in Kewanee is in charge of arrangements.

She was born November 8, 1960 in Kewanee, the daughter of Jesse James and Shirley Diane (Frisby) Smith Sr. Survivors include her son, Thomas (Tanika) McIntire of Kewanee and their children; Dominique, Iziah, Arionna and Kaliah, her daughter, Rebecca (James) Crockett of Kewanee and their children; Tabby, Keirsten, Christian, Alizjah, Abbey, DréVyn and Aubree, her daughter, Racheal (Cyndi) Peterson and her son, Zack, a sister, Carolyn Murphy and her boyfriend, Terry Brubaker and her children; Gary E. Murphy Jr. and Travis James Murphy, a brother, William Joe (Julie) Smith and their children; William Joey Smith and Kenzie Smith, a brother, Jesse James Smith Jr. and his children; Jessica, Terra (Brayden), Tiffany, Carrie and Jesse James Smith III, a sister, Crystal Summy and her children, Jennifer and Amber, her best friends, Sandra and Sue Pollock and Diana’s boyfriend, Donald Gillespie. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Diana had worked as a waitress at the Barnhouse in Kewanee. She loved Halloween and enjoyed doing crafts, listening to “oldies” and she especially enjoyed her family time.
