Dianna J. Hargrove

LAFAYETTE - Dianna J Hargrove, 71, of LaFayette, died at 11:25 a.m., Saturday, August 4, 2018 in the emergency room at OSF Saint Luke Medical Center in Kewanee.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 7 at Rux Funeral Home in Galva. Pastor Don Reul will officiate. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will be in the LaFayette Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Dianna Hargrove Memorial Fund.
 
She was born January 17, 1947 in Burlington, IA, the daughter of Dean and Ruth (Canfield) Gibson. She is survived by a son, Jake (Violet) Alvis of LaFayette, a daughter, Shawn Richardson (Art Nunn) of Brookfield, MO, thirteen grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, five sisters, Geraldine Kisler of Galesburg, Sharon Banta of Oquwaka, Donna of Shelbyville, MO, Joe Buck of Jacksonville, IL and Cindy Dowdy of Collman, AL and her significant other, Jerry Chase. She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Greg.
 
Dianna graduated from Burlington High School in 1965. She had been an antique dealer out of her home for a number of years. She had also done nursing care and had been a waitress, bartender and cook. She enjoyed collecting antiques, being outdoors, bird watching, gardening and socializing.
