Georgia Ann Grabbe

GALVA – Georgia Ann Grabbe, 76, of Galva, died at 3:25 p.m., Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at the Kewanee Care Home.

Cremation will be accorded and a Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 28 at Rux Funeral Home in Galva. Rev. Martin Gutzmer will officiate. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the family for a memorial to be established.

She was born March 9, 1941 in Galesburg, the daughter of William and Virginia (Showalter) Perry. She married William E. “Bill” Grabbe Sr. on April 16, 1961 in Galva and he preceded her in death on July 31, 2013. Survivors include her son, William (Cheri) Grabbe Jr. of Galva, a brother, Bill, three sisters, Norma, Nancy and Betty, a grandchild, Patrick (Kotalina) Grabbe and two great grandchildren, Nathan and Carson. She was also preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Ed, a sister, Jeanie, and a daughter, Cindy in infancy.

Georgia was a homemaker and she enjoyed music, going to yard sales, watching her favorite T.V. show, American Pickers and going for rides and heading to McDonalds.
