Dear Precious Family of Mother Geraldine,
Holy Greetings in the Glorious name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We joyfully remember the lighthearted spirit and smiling face of Mother Geraldine “Jerry” Johnson. As her neighbors in Kewanee, we were witnesses of her life as a good neighbor and one who showed love to our family as that good neighbor. She was a very compassionate person and always came to our aid in times of need. She was a friend in word and deed. She will be greatly missed. We treasure our memories of her and the family.
May our Heavenly Father comfort you in the days ahead. Let us continue in His love and promises. St. John 14:15-18 “If you love me, keep my commandments. 16. And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever. 17. Even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. 18. I was so very sorry to hear about the sudden loss of our dear Mother Johnson. I'm sad to say that I'll be unable to attend the funeral, as I had to fly home to the U.K. following a call to say my Son Benjamin was in hospital in critical care. I remain by his side.
Mother Gerry was a truly beautiful lady, and always so kind to me. I used to love chatting to her. She will be greatly missed. My love and condolences to all her family.

My condolences to Jerry's family. I worked with her at kewanee care for 2 1/2 yrs as did my mom several yrs before. I come to love her very much. I loved her smile and sense of humor. I admired her on how she was still taking care of her mother full time and working. She will be greatly missed.

My prayers and thoughts are with each and every member of the Johnson family. I pray that God will wrap his arms around all of you throughout this trying time.
I saw and talked to Mrs. Dean when I was in Kewanee a few months back at Kenny Baker's funeral and she looked so good. I thank God I was able to see her then cause I hadn't seen her in years.
May God continue to bless and keep all of you.
