Harvey Andrew "Andy" Baysingar

KEWANEE – Harvey Andrew “Andy” Baysingar, 82, of Kewanee, died at 9:35 a.m., Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at his home.

Cremation will be accorded and a memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, January 12 at Rux Funeral Home in Kewanee. The Very Rev. Jerry Rafalko will officiate. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to Abilities Plus, OSF Hospice or to Illinois Cancer Care.

He was born May 10, 1936 in Brimfield, the son of Ernest and Cloey (Alexander) Baysingar. He married Patricia “Pat” Callahan on June 26, 1965 in Peoria. Survivors include his wife of Kewanee, two sons, Jason (Melissa) Baysingar of Hoffman Estates, IL and Jerry (Jeanette) Baysingar of Wellington, CO, two sisters, Pat George and Ernestine Lowry, three grandchildren; Gabby, Addisyn and Reagan and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and five siblings; Robert, Christine, Virginia, Elizabeth and Henry.

Andy was owner and operator of Baysingar Antiques in Kewanee since 1969.
