Jasper Jospeh Chayer

KEWANEE – Jasper Joseph Chayer, infant son of Ariel and Mike Chayer was born a silent birth at 1:42 p.m., Monday, December 4, 2017 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

A visitation will be held from 6:00-7:00 p.m., Friday, December 8 at Rux Funeral Home in Kewanee. Cremation will be accorded following the visitation. Memorials may be directed to the family for a memorial to be established.

Jasper Joseph is survived by his parents of Kewanee, his siblings, Anabelle, Damon and Stacey, grandparents, Marjorie DuBose of Geneseo, John Goepper of Pensacola, FL and Kary Chayer of Kewanee, paternal great grandparents, Ada Creech and June (Dwayne) Negley, both of Kewanee, maternal great grandparents, Robert (Marla) Shedlosky of Geneseo and Sharon Smith of Pensacola, FL, aunts, Stephanie Chayer and Amber Simmons, uncle, Andrew Hansen, great aunt, Liz Adams and great uncles, Jeff Lester and Rodney Goepper. Jasper was preceded in death by his paternal great grandfathers, Wayne Chayer and Warren Creech, maternal great grandmother, Dorothea Whisman, paternal grandfather, Jody Chayer, great aunt, Francie Jo Drilling and cousin, Kaden.
