KEWANEE – Kimberly Mae Coles, 49, of Kewanee, died on April 1, 2018 following a four-month battle with cancer.
Cremation has been accorded and a memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 11 at Rux Funeral Home in Kewanee. Fr. John Burns will officiate. Inurnment will be held at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to P.I.N.K. (Pitties In Need Kennels) or to the Kimberly Coles Memorial Fund.
She was born March 12, 1969 at Darnell Army Hospital in Fort Hood, TX, the daughter of Madelyn (Berger) Keller of Kewanee and Doyle Finin of Princeton. She is survived by her parents, three children; Nicole Coles of Tulsa, OK and Karen Johnson and William Coles III, both of Little Rock, AR, six grandchildren, two brothers, Robert (Susan) Finin of Bettendorf, IA and Glenn Finin of Oklahoma, three sisters, Alicia Peed of Tiskilwa, Christine (Douglas) Warren of Kewanee and Brenda (Gary) Brokaw of Princeton and her significant other, Chris Rodriguez.
Kimberly had worked at Walgreens, APAC and the Kewanee Leather Factory. She enjoyed time with her family, cookouts and celebrating the 4th of July.
