Linda Charlene Mack

GALESBURG – Linda Charlene Mack, 69, of Galesburg, formerly of Galva, died at 4:33 p.m., Monday, December 30, 2019 in the emergency room at OSF St. Mary Medical Center in Galesburg.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 4 at Rux Funeral Home in Galva. Pastor Bob Curry will officiate. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Friday, January 3 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Galva Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the family for a memorial to be established.

She was born September 29, 1950 in Galesburg, the daughter of Harold and Irma (Stiers) Krantz. She married Rick Mack on May 8, 1971. Survivors include her husband of Galesburg, her mother, a daughter, Peggy (Rich) Creamer of  Wilton, IA, a son, Donald (Stephanie) Brock of Galva, two sisters, Barb (Larry) Schupbach of Chillicothe, IL and Peggy (Sam) Medina of Englewood, CO, seven grandchildren; Ricky and Jacob Creamer, Dustin, MaKayla and Danny Brock and Rylee Huston and Jason (Lindsey) Huston and two great grandchildren, Reilly Brock and Alexis Huston. She was preceded in death by her father.

Linda graduated from Galva High School and had worked in the medical field for over 20 years. She had been a member of the First Congregational Church in Galva. She was an avid Chicago Bears and Cubs fan and enjoyed collecting Santa’s, doing ceramics and cross-stitch and she especially enjoyed her family and attending her grandchildren’s activities.
