Lori Ann Quanstrom

TOULON – Lori Ann Quanstrom, 37, of Toulon, died at 9:20 a.m., Sunday, April 22, 2018 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

Funeral services will be held at 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 1st at Rux Funeral Home in Kewanee. Deacon Martin VanMeltebeck will officiate. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m., until the time of the services at the funeral home. Cremation will be accorded following the services and private inurnment will be held at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Kewanee at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the family for a memorial to be established.

She was born September 11, 1980 in Kewanee, the daughter of Alvin E. “Buddy” and Janet Lee (Piester) Quanstrom. Survivors include her fiancé, William J. Self of Toulon, three children, Jonathan Hallman, Haven Rene Self and William Jonathan Self (a.k.a., Liam), all of Toulon, two sisters, Luanne Thurston and Lynette Richardson, both of Kewanee, a brother, Kevin (Shelley) Quanstrom of Kewanee and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.

Lori graduated from Kewanee High School. She had worked in home health care for the Henry County Health Department and at Great Dane Trailer Manufacturing. She had a smile that lit up a room and that brought everyone cheer. She loved being with her family and interacting with people and she especially enjoyed camping, fishing and riding quads.
