WILLIAMSFIELD – Mildred R. “Millie” Duley, 83, of Williamsfield, died at 10:25 a.m., Saturday, December 2, 2017 at her home, surrounded by her family.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 5 at the Yates City Cemetery. Pastor Krey Leesman will officiate. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be directed to OSF Hospice or the Illinois Cancer Center. Rux Funeral Home in Williamsfield is in charge of arrangements.

She was born October 6, 1934 in Douglas, IL, the daughter of Leonard and Ruth (Hausman) Hills. She married Carl D. Duley on September 20, 1935 in Yates City, IL and he preceded her in death on November 11, 2010. She is survived by a son, Greg (Debra) Duley of LaFayette, IN, two daughters, Deann (Darcy) Fowler of Muscatine, IA and Cindy Welker of Farmington, IL, six grandchildren, Christopher, Shawn, Catie, Nick, Carl and Lynsi, seven great grandchildren, Carli, Kal, Abi, Carter, Aleeda, Bryse and Braydon and two sisters, Emma Jane Duley of Maquon and Helen Laurson of Yates City. She was also preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Raymond and a sister, Dorothy.

Millie graduated from Yates City High School. In earlier years, she had worked at Zeamers Turkey Farms and at the IGA Food store in Farmington as the produce manager but she had mostly worked along side her husband in their farming operation. She had been a member of the Douglas United Methodist Church, the Yates City Quilt Club and the local Garden Club. She enjoyed doing craft work and quilting and dearly loved her family and grandchildren.
