GALVA – Naranbhai L. Desai, 95, of Galva, died at 6:43 a.m., Sunday, August 25, 2019 at the Kewanee Care Home.
A ceremony will be held from 11:00 a.m. -1:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 27 at Rux Funeral Home in Galva. Cremation will be accorded following the ceremony and his ashes will be returned to his native India at a later date.
He was born February 1, 1924 in India, the son of Lallubhai and Deviben Desai. He married Manguben Naranbhai Patel and she preceded him in death in 2014. Survivors include a son, three daughters and extended family.
Naranbhai had been a forest manager and helped his family at the Super 8 Hotel in Galva which they own and operate.
