KEWANEE – Pamela D. “Pam” Robbins, 73, of Kewanee, died at 7:25 a.m., Thursday, April 19, 2018 at her home.
Cremation will be accorded and no services are planned at this time. Private inurnment will be held at Blue Ridge Cemetery in Chillicothe, IL at a later date. Rux Funeral Home in Kewanee is in charge of arrangements.
She was born March 12, 1945 in Waterloo, IA, the daughter of Wilson and Maxine Briggs. Survivors include her mother, her children, Aaron (Lisa) Robbins of Chillicothe, IL and Stephanie Robbins of Kewanee, four grandchildren, Nathan Robbins, Brian Yelm Jr., Brooke Yelm (Adam Ramsey) and Erin Yelm, a great granddaughter, Addisyn Ramsey, a brother, Sam Briggs, a sister, Barbara Butts and two nieces, Bobbi Jean Butts and Tamara Butts. She was preceded in death by her father and son, David Robbins.
Pam served her country in the U.S. Navy for 3 years as a journalist obtaining the rank of Seaman Apprentice. She was a homemaker and had worked at a nursing home and at Wal-Mart prior to her retirement. She thoroughly enjoyed her family.
