Patricia Marie "Tricia" Wattenberg

MINERAL – Patricia Marie “Tricia” Wattenberg, 47, of Mineral, died unexpectedly on Saturday, October 21, 2017.

Cremation will be accorded and a memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 27 at Hope Church in Le Claire, IA. Pastor Matthew Darnell will officiate. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services at the church. Private inurnment will be held at Davenport Memorial Park in Davenport, IA at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the Patricia Wattenberg Memorial Fund. Rux Funeral Home in Kewanee is in charge of arrangements.

She was born June 2, 1970 in Davenport, IA, the daughter of Donald Collier and Linda (Anderson) Nelson. Survivors include her mother of Le Claire, IA, her father of Moline, her two sons, John Henry Wattenberg and Brendan Dale Wattenberg, both of Geneseo, a sister, Misty DePauw of Mineral, three nieces, Sarina Roggy and Alyssa and Samantha DePauw, all of Mineral and several great nieces and nephews.

Tricia had worked in marketing for Sam’s Club for several years. She loved her job and enjoyed doing crafts and reading and was a “history buff” enjoying historical buildings and landmarks. Tricia had a fun sense of humor and her main focus was her two boys and being a mom to them.
