Ralph Eugene Spence

KEWANEE – Ralph Eugene Spence, 66, of Kewanee, died at 3:52 p.m., Monday, January 13, 2020 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

Cremation will be accorded and no services are planned at this time. Private inurnment will be held at Rose Lawn Cemetery in Moline at a late. Memorials may be directed to his family. Rux Funeral Home in Kewanee is in charge of arrangements.

He was born November 17, 1953 in Aledo, the son of George and Marian (May) Spence. He married Melody Sones on May 29, 1976. Survivors include his wife of Kewanee, two sons, Adam Spence of Kewanee and William Spence of Moline, a granddaughter, Skylar and a great grandson, Dylan. He was preceded in death by his parents, eight brothers and sisters; Nancy, George, Linda, Charles, Steve, Danny, Lisa and Lea and his son, Shawn Spence.

He attended school in Moline and had worked as an auto detailer at Quad City Suzuki. He enjoyed watching reality TV, especially Swamp People and Naked and Afraid. He also enjoyed his pet cat, Carley.
