Rosanna L. Sarber

KEWANEE – Rosanna L. Sarber, 70, of Kewanee, died at 6:30 a.m., Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at her home.

Cremation will be accorded and there will be a Celebration of her Life held at later date. Memorials may be directed to the family. Rux Funeral Home in Kewanee is in charge of arrangements.

She was born April 26, 1949 in Kewanee, the daughter of Vernon V. Vancil and Lola L. (Blodgett) Dziengel. She married James A. Sarber Sr. on June 20, 1992 at Zion Lutheran Church in Kewanee. Survivors include her husband of Kewanee, a son, James A. (Mericah) Sarber Jr., four daughters; Kelli L. (Richard) Murphy, Kimberly J. (Jason) Anderson, Karla J. (Kraig) Vogt and Regina L. Morris, two brothers, Vernon J. Vancil and Vaughn R. Vancil, twenty-one grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and step-father, John Dziengel.

Rosanna had been a member of the Kewanee VFW Post 8078 and the American Legion Auxiliary. She loved God and butterflies and was artistic and enjoyed doing crafts, fishing, singing and cooking.
