TOULON – Roy F. Fritch, 70, of Toulon, died at 3:24 p.m., Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at the home of his sister in Kewanee.
Cremation will be accorded and a memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 29 at Rux Funeral Home in Kewanee. Rev. Martin Guztmer will officiate. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Private inurnment will be held at Toulon Cemetery at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the family for a memorial to be established.
He was born February 2, 1948 in Kewanee, the son of Harry R. and Majel C. (Frail) Fritch. Survivors include his daughter, Candi (Joe) Bousum of Walnut, his sister, Leta Petty of Kewanee, three grandchildren; Autumn, Nathan and Ashley Bousum, all of Walnut, two nephews and a niece, Eric (Becky) Petty and Kevin (Jessica) Petty, both of Kewanee and Deann (Jeff) Hinton of Tampico and a great niece, Petra Petty of Kewanee. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother-in-law, Clarence Petty.
Roy graduated from Toulon High School. He was a simple man who worked in farming until his retirement and had enjoyed taking care of his pets.
