My deepest sympathy to all of Sue's family. Sue and I have been best of friends since we met very early on at Irving school. Although I left IL many years ago, our friendship remained strong. Sue was one of my closest friends for 27 years. She was unfailingly loyal, and a wonderful friend in every way. She always shot "straight from the hip" and gave you her true opinion, no matter how difficult it might be for you to hear. It is one of the many things I loved about her. She faces her many (substantial) health challenges with geace, and without complaint. She always displayed a positive, "can-do" attitude. I loved her very much, and will miss her friendship; her infectious laugh; her sometimes caustic (but oftentimes humerous) sense of humor, and her wise counsel. Rest in peace, my sweet friend. I will see you again someday.
