Timothy James "Tim" Frisby

DAVENPORT, IA – Timothy James “Tim” Frisby, 73, of Davenport, formerly of Kewanee, died Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at Genesis Medical Center in Davenport.

Cremation will be accorded and a memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 8 at Rux Funeral Home in Kewanee. Memorials may be directed to the family.

He was born April 5, 1945 in Kewanee. the son of Timothy Judson and Mary (Lyons) Frisby. He had been married to Ruth Bolton Frisby who was the mother of his children and then he later married Eileen G. Walker. Survivors include his wife of Davenport, five children; Timothy James Frisby Jr., William David Frisby, Teresa Renee Frisby Mosher, Paul Bradley Frisby and Todd Patrick Frisby, siblings; Gene Frisby, Mary Peed, Janet Lovell, Gary (GG) Frisby and Joe Frisby, seventeen grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters; Marcia Craig, Marie Dutton, Shirley Smith and Dorothy Frisby and four brothers; William Frisby, Arthur Allen Frisby, Richard Frisby and Timothy Frisby Jr.

Tim was reared and educated in Galesburg. He was a retired truckdriver.
