Vern L. Frail

KEWANEE – Vern L. Frail, 78, of Kewanee, died at 7:23 a.m., Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at his home.

Cremation will be accorded and no services are planned at this time. Memorials may be directed to the family for a memorial to be established. Rux Funeral Home in Kewanee is in charge of arrangements.

He was born May 27, 1939 in Galva, the son of Floyd and Lorraine “Elma” (Chesser) Frail. He married Janet E. Moore on January 2, 1969 in Elmira, IL. She survives of Kewanee, as does a son, Mike of Kewanee, six brothers, Dale, Robert, Buck, Eddie, Roy and Chuck, six sisters, Diane, Sharon, Emily, Loretta, Mary and Judy, four grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, a sister, two daughters and a son.

Vern had worked in maintenance and as a welder at Pearson’s/IME in Galva. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.
