William J. "Billy" Bailey

KEWANEE – William James “Billy” Bailey, 48, of Kewanee, died at 2:02 p.m., Friday, January 3, 2020 in the emergency room at OSF Saint Luke Medical Center in Kewanee.

Cremation will be accorded and a Celebration of his Life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 21 at Rux Funeral Home in Kewanee. Rev. Dr. William R. Toliver will officiate. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Memorials may be directed to his family.

He was born October 25, 1971 in Kewanee, the son of William Bailey and Beverly (Davis) Brown. Survivors include his father of Kewanee, his two sisters, Audrey McLaurin of Kewanee and Janee Jorsage of Kansas City, MO and a niece and nephew, Aaliyah and David McLaurin, both of Kewanee. He was preceded in death by his mother and grandparents.

Billy was a client at Abilities Plus in Kewanee. He enjoyed food, listening to jazz music and walking, especially for Relay for Life.
