Adolfo Cazares

Adolfo Cazares, 29, of Creve Coeur, IL, formerly of Kewanee, died Tuesday, March 10, 2026 in Creve Coeur.  

He was born on August 6, 1996 in Chicago, IL where he was raised half of his years in Kewanee. The youngest son of Alicia Bretado and Jose Elias Cazares and the youngest sibling of Alex Cazares and Esmeralda Ibarra and great uncle to Rafael Palma and King Ibarra.

Adolfo loved to play Magic with his friends in his free time. He also enjoyed traveling and loved playing video games with his two nephews. Adolfo loved his cat Bookero like it was his child. He was funny and sweet to everyone and was dearly loved by all his family and friends.

A prayer service by Fr. Narcis Katambe will be held at 4:00 p.m., Friday, March 20 at Rux Funeral Home in Kewanee, followed by recitation of the rosary. A visitation will follow from 4:30-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Cremation will be accorded following the services. Memorials may be directed to his family.
