Barry G. Nichols

MOLINE – Barry G. Nichols, 73, of Moline, formerly of Kewanee, died at 7:08 p.m., Sunday, April 4, 2021 at Genesis Medical Center, Silvis.

Cremation will be accorded and there will be no services. Private graveside inurnment will be held at Wethersfield Cemetery in Kewanee. Rux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

He was born July 24, 1947 in Kewanee, the son of Floyd and Burnetta (Newkirk) Nichols. He married Correne Keller in 1969 and she preceded him in death on February 25, 2010. Survivors include his two loving grandsons, Tyler and Austin White and their parents, Kerry White and Tami Bogosian and his brother, Terry Nichols. He was also preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Callie Lynell (Nichols) White.

Barry served his country in the U.S. Army. He had worked at the Rock Island Arsenal until his retirement 2003.
