Beverly A. "Bev" Tucker

WILLIAMSFIELD – Beverly A. “Bev” Tucker, 93, of Williamsfield, died on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 17 at the Williamsfield United Methodist Church with Pastor Zoila Marty officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services at the church. Burial will follow at Williamsfield Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Williamsfield United Methodist Church. Rux Funeral Home in Williamsfield is in charge of arrangements.

She was born October 17, 1930 in Williamsfield, the daughter of Bert and Lucy (Matson) Daniels. She married Samuel B. “Sam” Tucker on October 17, 1946 in Galesburg and he preceded her in death October 25, 1990. Survivors include her son, William “Bill” (Gale) Tucker of Williamsfield, two daughters, Melodie Eagle and Dianna Biddle, both of Williamsfield, nineteen grandchildren; Starr (Mark), Dana, Melissa (Mark), Melinda, Tracie (Mike), Lisa, Annette (Charlie), Melisa, Shane (Elizabeth), Sam (Amanda), Brett (Jolene) and Zach, thirty-two great grandchildren; Stephanie (Bill), Nichole (Brandon), Cory (Rachel), Maggie, Lacy, Ava (Jordan), Alivia (Jacob), Calvin, Lorin (Gionna), Michael, Jeremy (Molly), Rachel (Hayes), James, Tucker (Gracie), Lewis, Bryce, Blaine, Ali, Brodie, Chloee, Sawyer, Hayden and Eliza and nine great-great grandchildren; Fin, Dylan, Dawson, Casen, Drew, Brantley, Brooks, Bruin and Rosie. She was also preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Harold Daniels, a sister, Velma Cross and a brother and sister in infancy, Ralph and Dorothy.

Bev attended Williamsfield Schools. She worked as an assembler for Maytag in Galesburg. She was a member of the Williamsfield United Methodist Church. She enjoyed bowling, fishing in Minnesota with her husband and traveling to Branson, MO with her sister. Most of all she loved her family and following her grandchildren and great grandchildren’s sporting events.
