KEWANEE – Bobby W. Boucher, 70, a resident of Royal Oaks Care Center, formerly of Mathiston, MS died at 4:50 p.m., Saturday, December 26, 2020 at the center with his loving daughter by his side.
Cremation will be accorded and no services will be held at this time. Inurnment will be held in Mathiston, MS at a later date. Rux Funeral Home in Kewanee is in charge of arrangements.
He was born July 13,1950 in Mathiston, MS, the son of John “Mack” and Estelle Geneva (Brooks) Boucher. Survivors include his daughters, Ginnie L. Boucher-LaCost of New Port Richey, FL and Amanda L. Boucher of Peoria, two sisters, Jo Ann Tutor and Sandy McMinn and many grandchildren. He was also great grandfather and an uncle and great uncle.
Bobby was the most loving father, grandfather, brother and uncle and a friend to many all over the world. Mississippi was where Bobby’s heart and home were. He had worked as a finish carpenter and he enjoyed fishing and camping in Mississippi. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandson, Blanche who he referred to as “my boy, my best friend.”
The family would like to give a big thank you to the staff at Royal Oaks Care Center for truly being a group of loving people whom Bobby loved dearly.
