Bonnie M. Summers

KEWANEE – Bonnie M. Summers, 68, of Kewanee, died at 9:45 p.m., Monday, April 14, 2025 at Arcadia Care at Kewanee.

She was born on June 5, 1956 in Leominster, MA, the daughter of Doanld Lee and Eileen (Riley) Elgin. Survivors include her three children; Robbie, Tim and Julie, three brothers; Chris, Donald and Eddie and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded by in death by her grandparents, her parents and a brother.

Bonnie graduated from Kewanee High School in 1974 and had attended beauty school. She worked in the workshop at Abilities Plus in Kewanee. She was of the Catholic faith and enjoyed watching and playing sports, doing crafts, reading, shopping and watching TV. She was an avid Kewanee Boiler and Visitation Giants fan.

Cremation will be accorded and no services are planned at this time. Memorials may be directed to Bridgeway Inc. or to the Visitation School. Rux Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
