Candace Lynn Bucell

Candace Lynn Bucell, 38, passed away August 24, 2022 in West Palm Beach, FL. She was a native of Florida and was born at Bethesda Hospital in Boynton Beach on October 27, 1983 to parents Candace Mansfield and Dennis Bucell. She earned her cosmetology degree at Palm Beach State College and worked as a talented hair colorist and stylist. She was also known for her love of animals. Her pets were her heart and she always made sure they were well cared for and loved. May she rest in that same love.

Survivors include her mother, Candace Mansfield of West Palm Beach, FL, her aunts, Tracy (Mike) Piotrowski and Kim Oldeen, both of Kewanee, IL, her siblings; Dr. Nicole Herr (Tully) of Albuquerque, NM, Dr. Mark Coné of Boynton Beach, FL and Gregory Sall of Chicago, IL, her nieces and nephew; Alyssa Sall, Alexis Sall, Ashley Sall, Theo Herr and Mable Herr and cousins; Amanda Laub, Heather Atkinson, Erin Atkinson, Sarah Oldeen, Bobby Oldeen, Christie Burnett and Eddie Burnett. Also surviving is family friend and neighbor Loretta Fuegos of West Palm Beach, FL

Candace was preceded in death by her grandmother, Emma Joylene Webb Burnett, uncles, Mark Wayne Burnett and Edgar Allen “Ed” Burnett III, an aunt, Debra Kay Atkinson, a nephew, Kelly Drew Sall, a cousin, Rodney Allen Atkinson, and her father, Dennis Bucell.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, October 27 at Rux Funeral Home in Galva. Burial of ashes will be held at Galva cemetery in Galva. She will be laid to rest on the family plot so as to honor her life and death. In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made in Candy’s honor to your local humane society or favorite animal rescue.
