GALVA – Carol Ann Koga, 65, of Galva, died at 1:15 p.m., Monday, January 27, 2020 at her home.
Cremation will be accorded and a memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 1 at the First Baptist Church in Galva. Pastor Jon Vincent will officiate. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services at the church. Inurnment will be held in Galva Cemetery at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the family for a memorial to be established. Rux Funeral Home in Galva is in charge of arrangements.
She was born December 25, 1954 in Chicago, the daughter of Wilford and Beatrice (Benson) Insco. She married Patrick J. “Pat” Koga on May 18, 1984 in Geneva, IL. Survivors include her husband of Galva, her children; Jeremy (Amanda) Koga of Dekalb, IL, Rebecca “Becky” (Bradley) Frank of Highwood, IL, Kristina (John) Bosse of Elgin, IL and Patricia “Patty” Koga, Minasha Koga and Da-Mon Koga, all of Galva, two sisters, Gail Korn and Kathy Spear, both of Mountain City, TN and four grandchildren; Jacob, Andrew, Riley and Charlie. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother in infancy.
Carol had waitressed at various restaurants over the years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Galva. She enjoyed gardening and her pet dogs.
