Catrelle L. Reed

KEWANEE – Catrelle L. Reed, 39, of Kewanee, was found just west of Kewanee on Friday, May 30, 2025.

He was born on July 2, 1985 in Kewanee, the son of Larry Reed and Terry Reader. Survivors include his mother, his seven children; Cavius, Catrelle Jr., Caidryana, Cavion, Caden, Cyra and Cavien, his brothers, Zaffery Reed, Landon Waddell, Tirrel Marshall, Jyrel Isreal and Tyrese Howell and sisters, Zonie Dixon and Danistriss (Mario) Reed Fuller. He was preceded in death by his father and his nephew, Dalyn Thompson.

Catrelle worked as a truck driver for Ford & Sons. He was a hard worker who was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and enjoyed fishing. He loved his family and cherished the time spent with his children.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 16 at Rux Funeral Home in Kewanee with Pastor Stephen McGough officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the services at the funeral home. The burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to his family.
