Charles F. "Chuck" Neufcour

KEWANEE – Charles F. “Chuck” Neufcour, 71, of Kewanee, died at 4:25 p.m., Thursday, September 9, 2021 at Toulon Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.

Cremation will be accorded and private graveside services will be held in October. Memorials may be directed to Hospice Compassus in Galesburg. Rux Funeral Home in Kewanee is in charge of arrangements.

He was born September 8, 1950 in Kewanee, the son of Frank and Arlene (Doubler) Neufcour. He married Donna Camey on April 2, 1970 and they later divorced and together they had two daughters, Tammy Neufcour Pierson (James Killian) of Kewanee and Audra Farmer of Tampa, FL. He later married Gina Harker and they divorced and together they had a son, Thomas Neufcour of Kewanee. Survivors include his three children, two sisters, Marsha Neufcour of Kewanee and Lorelle (Don) Burcham of Sheffield, six grandchildren; Brady (Kelsie) Pierson of Ft. Drum, NY, Brooke Pierson of Princeville and Ava, Jayda, AJaye and Amyra Neufcour, all of Tampa, FL, a niece, Lisa (Kevin) Wilson of Sheffield, a nephew, Doug (Julie) Burcham of Spring Valley and a great grandchild due in April. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Janice.

Chuck graduated from Annawan High School in 1968. He worked as a welder for J.I. Case retiring in 2002 and also taught welding and owned and operated Neufcour Welding. He was of the Catholic faith, was an avid NASCAR and Green Bay Packers fan and enjoyed burnt wieners on the grill. He was a car enthusiast especially Corvettes.
