KEWANEE - Christoffen "Chris" J. Thompson, 42, a resident of Aperion Care Galesburg, formerly of Kewanee, died at 7:00 a.m., Sunday, August 30, 2020 at the nursing home.

Cremation will be accorded and no services will be held. Memorials may be directed to his family. Rux Funeral Home in Kewanee is in charge of arrangements.

He was born December 20, 1977 in Simi Valley, CA. Survivors include his mother, Susan Moore of Kewanee, his daughter, Niomi, his siblings; David McLaurin, Andrew McLaurin and Katheryn McLaurin, all of Kewanee, a grandchild, Aubury and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Terry Moore, a brother, Tracy and a sister, Charlie.
