Dale Brown

MONMOUTH - Dale Brown, 40, of Monmouth, died at 2:39 p.m., Saturday, October 7, 2023 at his home.

Cremation will be accorded and a graveside committal of his cremains will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 13 at Williamsfield Cemetery. A Celebration of his Life will be held at a later date. Memorials may be directed to his family. Rux Funeral Home in Williamsfield is in charge of arrangements.

He was born December 11, 1982 in Galesburg, the son of David and Sally (Sexton) Brown. Survivors include his parents of Williamsfield, his children; Joshua Likes-Brown of Williamsfield, Ozzie Kimler of Galesburg and Rebecca Likes-Brown of Williamsfield, two brothers, Douglas Brown and Rexanna Munson of Monmouth, Alan (Tierney) Brown of Galesburg, nieces, Victoria Brown and Lilly Battye, both of Elmwood and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Dale graduated from Williamsfield High School in 2001. He had worked as a pallet assembler at Kirkwood Crates in Monmouth and also at FS in Williamsfield. He was a super adventurous individual who enjoyed fishing, Pokémon, Friday the 13th, Super Mario Bros, and hanging out with the people he loved.
