OTTUMWA, IA – Danny Joe Tarr, 65, a resident of Royal Oaks Care Center in Kewanee, formerly of Ottumwa, IA, died at 2:10 p.m., Tuesday, December 29, 2020 in the emergency room at OSF Saint Luke Medical Center in Kewanee.

Cremation will be accorded and no services are planned at this time. Inurnment will be held in Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Ottumwa, IA at a later date. Rux Funeral Home in Kewanee is in charge of arrangements.

He was born February 19, 1955 in Ottumwa, IA, the son of Donald Arthur and Marilyn Jean (Sparks) Tarr. Survivors include his two sisters, Cindy Grant of Ottumwa, IA and Rebecca (Richard) Westphall of East Moline, one niece, one nephew, a great niece and several aunts and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Paula and a brother, Michael.

Danny had worked for JI Case and he enjoyed woodworking.
