GALVA – Darcy J. Rosebeck, 54, of Galva, passed away peacefully at 12:18 a.m., Friday, November 25, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 30 at Rux Funeral Home in Galva with Pastor David Pendergrass officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Osceola Grove Cemetery in rural Bradford. Memorials may be directed to Henry County Humane Society.
She was born January 3, 1968 in Kewanee, the daughter of Frank and Marcine (McKeever) Watson. Survivors include her children, Karlie (Brandon) Greene and Kiersten (John) Howard, both of Galva, her sister, Lorie Watson of LaFayette, several nieces and nephews and four grandchildren; Lora, Leah, Lane and Cameron. She was preceded in death by her father and mother and her nephew Brandon.
Darcy attended Wethersfield and Stark County Schools. She worked for several surrounding grocery stores early in life. She dedicated her life to her children and grandchildren, becoming a stay-at-home mom and caring for her grandchildren whenever she could help. She was an avid animal lover and spent her whole life loving animals, especially her dogs and horses. She also enjoyed drawing, yard sales, antiquing and riding her golf cart around town. She had the most tender heart and cared for everyone she loved. She was a one-of-a-kind person who will be deeply missed.
