David W. Jaco

David W. Jaco, 67, of Kewanee, died at 1:54 a.m., Saturday, June 6, 2026 at Arcadia Care at Kewanee.

He was born on July 10, 1958 in Lebanon, KY, the son of John and Margaret (Bowman) Jaco. Survivors include his daughter, Tiffany Renee Whitfield, six siblings; Charles (Tracy) Jaco, John Jaco and Michael (Michelle) Jaco, all of Galva and Vivian (Bruce) Welch, Jacqueline (Mike) Fjeld, Douglas Jaco, all of Kewanee, his granddaughter, Jasmine and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Sandra.

David attended Kewanee schools and worked as a welder for Bell Trucking in Galva. He enjoyed playing pool and online poker, watching Westerns and vampire shows, attending the Spoon River Drive and auctions, taking care of the dog Gizmo for the last 10 years and he especially enjoyed coffee with his friends and breakfast with his family.

Cremation will be accorded and no services are planned. Memorials may be directed to his family. Rux Funeral Home in Kewanee is assisting the family with arrangements.
