David A. Wolf

PEKIN – David A. Wolf, 75, of Pekin, formerly of Kewanee, died Monday, May 23, 2022 at his home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 27 at Rux Funeral Home in Kewanee with Pastor Russell Collister officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Cremation will be accorded following the services. Memorials may be directed to the Kewanee Park District.

He was born May 7, 1947 in Kewanee, the son of Floyd and Ruby (Green) Wolf. Survivors include his son, Rodney (Valerie) Wolf of Pekin, his two daughters, Shelly Stoner of Peoria and Jennifer (Todd) Salpietro of Buffalo Grove, IL, two sisters, Pam (Dan) Bates of Galva and Paula (Larry) Talbot of Russellville, AL, five grandchildren; Ryan, Chloe, Olivia, Kate and Sam and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

David graduated from Kewanee High School in 1965. He had worked as a route delivery driver for Wonder Bread. He was an avid Chicago Cubs and Bears fan who enjoyed golfing, attending sporting events and he especially enjoyed spending time with his family.
