GALVA - Davy Lee Moline, 88, of Galva, died at 4:05 a.m., Saturday April 11, 2020 at OSF Saint Luke Medical Center in Kewanee.
Due to the restrictions of COVID-19 private graveside services will be held with just his family at St. John's Cemetery in Bradford. Memorials can be directed to the Galva Food Pantry and may be sent to Rux Funeral Home, 313 Market St. Galva, IL. 61434.
He was born July 27, 1931 in Galva, the son of David and Lillian (Lindgren) Moline. He married Mary Doreen Ringenberg on October 21, 1950 in Camp Grove, IL and she preceded him in death on October 21, 2004. He was also preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Lois Burgeson, a brother and sister-in-law, Roland and Grace Moline, a sister and brother-in-law, Jim and Janet Davidson, a brother-in-law, Phil Ringenberg and a brother and sister-in-law, Don and Edna Ringenberg. He is survived by a daughter, Mary Jane (Wayne) Magee of Columbia City, IN, two sons, David (Gale) Moline of Dubuque, IA and Russell Moline of Woodhull, eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren and a sister-in-law, Joan Myroth of Creston, IL.
Davy graduated from Galva High School in 1948 and was a life-long resident of Galva. He had been a heavy equipment operator and a farmer. He enjoyed camping, gardening and playing cards.
